Quality primary care means better health outcomes, less emergency care, and reduced health disparities. It’s something everyone needs and deserves. Yet, primary care physicians (PCPs) are working in an increasingly complex healthcare system, resulting in less time for patient care.
Our goal is to change this dynamic in Alabama with the Blue Cross initiative called the “Circle of Care” Primary Care Select Program for primary care physicians.

Circle of Care Summit

Designed specifically for Primary Care Select physicians and advanced practice providers, the Summit serves as a forum for you to meet with your peers, Blue Cross representatives, and industry experts. The Summit also offers an opportunity for Blue Cross to share program updates and to highlight your efforts to improve primary care through innovation.

The Circle of Care Citizenship Award celebrates providers who deliver high-quality healthcare and make significant contributions to their communities in Alabama. Recipients receive $500 and a plaque, as well as recognition at the annual Circle of Care Summit.
