The first user to register for a business (Billing NPI and Tax ID combination) is automatically registered as the Master Administrator for the business.
The Master Administrator by default has access to all providers, functions and information and is expected to create/approve and manage access for all the business' users. Typically, the practice administrator or manager assumes this role.
During registration, if you are prompted by the system to enter a Billing NPI, you are registering as the Master Administrator. If you are not the person who should assume this role, please cancel the registration and contact the practice administrator.
